Alexander Hermann (1844-1896)

Alexander Hermann was one of the most famous magicians of the 19th century. He achieved great wealth and notoriety. He owned a mansion on Long Island, his own railroad car, and a personal yacht. He made Lincoln laugh when he performed in the White House.
