Laurens Perseus Hickok (1798-1888)

Laurens P. Hickock was a philosopher, clergyman, and professor. He was a Congregational pastor from 1824 until 1836. Hickok was then elected professor of theology at Western Reserve College. In 1853 he became a professor at Union College. Hickok was president of Union College from 1866 to 1868. He wrote several books on psychology.
