Newspaper Row, New York City

The photograph predates the elevated railroad at Park Row and the Brooklyn Bridge. On display are the Sun Building, the Tribune Building (with clock tower), the New York Times Building (1857), and French's Hotel, where the World Building would later be built. A corner of City Hall is shown with the old Hall of Records next to it.
