DeWolf Hopper (1858-1935) and Marshall P. Wilder (1859-1914)
DeWolf Hopper (right) was a musical comedy stage and screen actor. He was famous for his deadpan version of "Casey at the Bat" in the 1916 film. "Wolfie's" fifth wife was Hedda Hopper, the gossip columnist. Marshall Pinckney Wilder (left) was a comedian who overcame his handicap of spinal curvature with his brilliance and quick wit. Wilder was the author of "The People I Have Smiled With" and "The Sunny Side of the Street."
