This view from 123rd Street looks northwest, with Manhattan Street in the foreground. Amsterdam Avenue runs over the hill left center. To its right is a brewery and then, against the skyline, the Convent of the Sacred Heart. Donnelley's Woods was leveled in 1900-01, when 134th, 135th and 136th Streets were cut through.
