John Huyler (1808-1870)

John Huyler was a United States representative from New Jersey. He was judge of the New Jersey court of appeals from 1854 to 1857. He was elected as a Democrat to Congress (1857-59). Huyler was assassinated by Guiseppe Zangara in Hackensack, New Jersey, on January 9, 1870.
