Othniel C. Marsh (1831-1899)
Othniel Charles Marsh was a paleontologist. He taught at Yale University from 1866 to his death. His first great discovery was the eosaurus in Nova Scotia. He was also an osteologist, studying the structure and function of animals' bones.
