Stewart's Mansion, New York City

The four-story home of the merchant A. T. Stewart would become the Manhattan Club after his death. Completed in 1869, it stood at the northwest corner of 34th Street and Fifth Avenue. Stewart owned the largest retail store in New York in the 1860s.
