George W. Julian (1817-1899)

George Washington Julian was a United States Representative from Indiana. He was elected as a Free-Soiler (1849-1851). He was an unsuccessful candidate for Vice President of the United States on the Free-Soil ticket in 1852. Julian was elected as a Republican to Congress (1861-1871).
