Nicholas Longworth (1782-1863)

Nicholas Longworth was a horticulturist, lawyer, millionaire, and patron of the arts. Through his horticultural experiments he made the growth of grapes a commercial success in the U.S. He was a patron of sculptors and the donor of the site of the Cincinnati Observatory.
