Caleb Strong (1745-1819)
Caleb Strong was a delegate from Massachusetts during the Constitutional Convention who strongly advocated the idea of equal representation in the Senate. He would later serve in the U.S. Senate and then as the Governor of Massachusetts. This is an engraving by Albert Rosenthal based on the original painting by Gilbert Stuart.
