Israel S. Diehl (b.1811)

Israel Diehl was born in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. He married Rosanna M. Woodring Bowes in October 1872. In 1876 he moved to Monroe, Pennsylvania. Diehl was known as the "Oriental Traveler;" he journeyed to Turkey to obtain Angora goats.
