Daniel S. Dickinson (1800-1866)

Daniel Stevens Dickinson was a U.S. senator from New York. He was appointed and then elected as Democrat to the Senate and served from 1844 to 1851. Dickinson was elected attorney general of New York in 1861. President Lincoln appointed him U.S. attorney for southern New York (1865-66).
