Carlo Di Rudio
Count Carlo Di Rudio of Belluno was one of three Italian terrorists who threw bombs at Napoleon III's carriage in Paris in 1858. He then came to the U.S. where he became a captain in Custer's 7th United States Cavalry. Di Rudio was not present when the regiment was decimated at Little Big Horn. This photograph was taken at the W. P. Egbert studio in Davenport, Iowa.
