Hiram Dixon

Hiram Dixon and Abraham Hinkley organized the Metropolitan Errand and Carrier Express Co., in New York City, in 1855. Dixon was also affiliated with the Adams Express Company, a shipping business in New York. The steamer "Hiram Dixon" delivered mail in the Great Lakes.
