William McKinley (1843-1901)
William McKinley was the 25th president of the United States, serving from 1897 to 1901. McKinley became the third American president to be assassinated when Leon Czolgosz shot him in Buffalo in 1901. McKinley also served as governor of Ohio and six terms as a U.S. congressman.
