Justus McKinstry (c.1816-1897)
Justus McKinstry was a Union general in the Civil War. He was Chief Quartermaster of the West and brigadier general of volunteers (1861). Accused of being dishonest as quartermaster, he was arrested and dismissed in January 1863. He became a stockbroker in New York City.
