Charles Upson (1821-1885)
Charles Upson was a Republican U.S. congressman from Michigan in 1863-69. Upson was a member of the Michigan state senate in 1855, 1856, and 1880, and the attorney general of Michigan in 1861 and 1862. He was also a judge of the fifteenth circuit court from 1869 until his resignation December 31, 1872.
