Alvin C. Voris (d.1875)
Alvin Coe Voris was a brevet major general in the Union Army who began the war as a sergeant in the 4th Michigan. Voris was wounded in action at Gettysburg on July 2, 1863. He was brevetted brigadier general of volunteers for war service. In this photo Voris is a colonel.
