Henry Prince (1811-1892)

Henry Prince was a brevet brigadier general in the Union Army. He graduated West Point in 1835 and served in the Seminole and Mexican Wars. He was appointed brigadier general of volunteers in April 1862. He was captured at Cedar Mountain in August 1862 and released in December. Prince was brevetted brigadier general in the regular army for Cedar Mountain and war service.
