Alexander H. Rice (1818-1895)

Alexander Hamilton Rice was a paper manufacturer and Republican politician from Massachusetts. He was the mayor of Boston in 1856-57 and a U.S. representative (1859-67). Rice served as the governor of Massachusetts from 1876 until 1878.
