Edward H. Rollins (1824-1889)
Edward Henry Rollins was a railroad industry executive and a prominent Republican politician from New Hampshire. In the 1850s, Rollins was an apothecary and his political cronies were known as "The Drugstore Clique." He was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1861 and served until 1867. He was a Union Pacific Railroad Company executive during the years 1869-76. Rollins also served as a United States senator from 1877 until 1883.
