Howard Paul (1835-1905)
Howard H. Paul was a playwright, comic and mimic. Born in Philadelphia, he made his debut as a comic writer in London, with "Diogenes" (1852). Paul made his debut as an actor in Bath, in 1854, in a vaudeville called "My Neighbor Opposite." He returned to the U.S. in 1869 with his wife, the former Miss Featherstone, who was a vocalist and actress.
