Broadway, New York, between Prince and Houston Streets

This beautiful look at a busy Broadway was taken by Edward Anthony from the balcony of the Metropolitan Hotel, looking north. The old building of St. Thomas' Church can be seen on the left. Six years later the church would move to its permanent location on Fifth Avenue and 53rd Street.
