Dr. Samuel A. Mudd (1833-1883)
Dr. Samuel Alexander Mudd was convicted of conspiring with the killers of Abraham Lincoln because he had set Booth's broken leg during the assassin's flight. President Andrew Johnson pardoned him in 1869.
