Lincoln Dragging a Wagon

Lincoln did not actually have a beard when Tad was a baby in 1853, but this drawing presents an idea of Lincoln as a new father in those days in Springfield. It comes from an obscure children's book on Lincoln published in 1867, "The Forest Boy" by Z. A. Mudge.
