Annie Mortimer
Annie Mortimer was an actress and singer. In 1872 she debuted as Maud Markley in "The Breakers" at the Bowery Theatre. By 1875 Mortimer was singing in "Girofle-Girofla" at New York's disreputable Robinson Hall, however in 1876 she appeared as Alice Doyle in "The Kerry Gow," at New York's very respectable Park Theatre. Mortimer appeared in "Under False Colors" at New York's Eagle Theatre in 1877. Posing at the Elliott & Fry, 55 Baker Street, London, the actress discreetly touches her locket.
