H. W. Sage (1814-1897)

Henry William Sage was a business leader. W. H. Sage & Co. was a lumber firm in Albany, New York. Sage was good friends with Ezra Cornell, of Ithaca, New York, where Sage owned real estate. Cornell University today houses the W. H. Sage Collection of Classical Sculpture.
