John Tyndall (1820-1893)

John Tyndall was a British physicist who demonstrated why the sky is blue. Tyndall was an avid promoter of science in the Victorian era by entertaining and instructing fashionable audiences with brilliant lecture demonstrations. He was a professor of natural philosophy at the Royal Institution, London.
