E. R. A. Seligman (1861-1939)

Edwin R. A. Seligman was a Columbia University economist and a foremost authority on taxation in economics. He used an institutional and historical approach to public finance. He was also one of the founders of the New School for Social Research. Seligman wrote eight books and many articles on taxation.
