Alice S. Arnold

Alice Arnold was an actress in the 1870s and 80s. In 1876 she performed with the stock company at New York's National Garten, a German theater, in "The Haunted House," "The Hole in the Wall," and the energetically named "Wahoo!" The actress played Artea in "Adonis" at the Fifth Avenue Theatre in 1886. Arnold appears here on a carte de visite from the Roberts studio in Massachusetts, circa 1875.
