Alfred M. Waddell (1834-1912)

Alfred Moore Waddell was a U.S. representative from North Carolina. He worked as a lawyer and a newspaper editor. During the Civil War he was a lieutenant colonel in the 41st North Carolina. Waddell was elected as a Democrat to four terms in Congress (1871-79).
