Eloise Bridges
Eloise Bridges was a lecturer and actress from Brooklyn, New York. In 1853 she debuted as a "reader" at Irving Hall in New York. Bridges then played a two-week engagement as Pauline in "The Lady of Lyons" at the Broadway Theatre (1853-54 season). In 1857 she married C. Erwin. Bridges was already a famous lecturer when a Colorado newspaper announced her arrival there in October, 1859.
