Georgia Cayvan (1858-1906)
Georgia "Georgie" Eva Cayvan was a popular stage actress and vocalist in the 1880s and 90s. She made her debut in 1879 with the Boston Ideal Opera Company as Hebe in "H.M.S. Pinafore." After that Cayvan's career soared and she became a prominent leading lady throughout the country. She brought her characters to life with her humor, dramatic insight, and expressive eyes.
