Bianca Donadio
Bianca Donadio was a coloratura soprano. She made her New York debut in 1874, singing Rosina in "Il Barbiere di Siviglia" and Elvira in "Don Giovanni" at the New York Academy of Music. Donadio also performed with the Philharmonic. Unhappily, the singer fell out of favor with Maurice Stakosch, the opera impresario. She gave her last performance in Nice, France, on March 23, 1888, as Lucia di Lammermoor in Donizetti's work. During the opera a fire broke out and destroyed the Grand Theatre.
