Mrs. Aynsley Cook
Mrs. Aynsley Cook was an opera singer. In 1871 she appeared with the Parepa-Rosa company in "Daughter of the Regiment," at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, and in the following year in "La Gazza Ladra" at the New York Academy of Music. Her husband, Thomas Aynsley Cook (1813?-1894), was a famous English bass who specialized in opera-bouffe.
