Emma Cranch (b.1844)

Emma Cranch, a German contralto, soloed at the Cincinnati Music Festival in 1875 and made her 1877 New York debut in the "Lohengrin" at Brooklyn's Academy of Music. Cranch poses for this photograph in the Warren studio in Boston, circa 1870.
