Camille Dubois

Camille Dubois was a talented British actress and dancer. Her first success was as a member of Lydia Thompson's "British Blondes," a burlesque show that came to the U.S. in 1868. Dubois performed, among other dances, a Highland Fling. Dubois then went on to a successful career on her own. She played the part of Mary the Maid of the Inn in "The Mistletoe Bough" at the Adelphi Theatre in London during the 1870-71 season.
