Annetta Galletti was a popular nineteenth-century dancer from France. She made her debut at Milan in 1858. In 1859 Galletti debuted in New York at Niblo's Garden. During that same year she danced with the Lucy Escott Opera Troupe in Philadelphia. Together with her husband, Monsieur Cardelli, Galletti traveled to England in 1869. She poses here in a voluminous coat with a fur muff and collar at the Gurney studio in New York City, circa 1865.
