Bijou Heron

Bijou Heron was an actress who was surrounded by famous theater people. The great Matilda Heron (1830-77), whose creation of a new Camille was a lasting success, was her mother. Matilda Heron's final performance was in 1876, at a benefit for Bijou, playing Medea. Bijou Heron married Henry Miller, a producer, writer, director, and actor, and their son was Gilbert Miller, a producer, writer, director, actor, and theater owner, who sometimes went by the name of Gilbert Heron.
