Olive Logan (1839-1909)
Olive Logan, a successful actress who did not like the stage, became a writer. The daughter of actress Eliza Akeley Logan and actor Cornelius Logan, and the sister of Eliza Logan, Olive performed for years in Augustin Daly's company. In 1864 she starred in a play she herself had written, "Eveleen." Retiring from acting in 1868, Olive Logan became a novelist, playwright, lecturer, and journalist.
