Alice Maresi
Alice Maresi was an operatic vocalist. She made an impressive debut in the fall of 1873, singing Lucrezia in "Lucrezia Borgia," Anna in "Don Giovanni," and the Queen in "Les Huguenots," at the New York Academy of Music. One critic praised her "fresh sympathetic voice." After 1873 Maresi turned toward concert performances, including religious music, however in 1875 she sang the lead in "Aida" at the New York Academy of Music.
