Ada Monk

Ada Monk was a comic actress who worked in New York during the 1870s. Monk belonged to Wallack's company for two years, then went out on her own, frequently playing Adriana in Shakespeare's "Comedy of Errors." The actress poses here at the Starkweather studio in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts.
