Nully Pieris
Nully Pieris, a French vocalist, made her New York debut in January, 1870, at the Grand Opera House (with the Lingard troupe) and had great success that season. In 1871 Pieris performed in several concerts at the Grand Opera House. Beginning in 1873 Pthe singer turned toward variety theater, appearing throughout the years in New York at the Olympic Theatre, the Theatre Comique, and the Metropolitan Theatre.
