Katherine Rogers (Randolph)
Katherine Rogers (Randolph) was a talented and successful actress who made her debut in 1872 as Galatea in W. S. Gilbert's "Pygmalion and Galatea" at Wallack's Theatre in New York. Rogers was a key member of Wallack's company for many years. By 1888, however, she played a "supernumerary" or extra in a famous production of "Hamlet" at New York's Metropolitan Opera House.
