Pauline Markham (d.1919)
Pauline Markham debuted in London in 1867 in "The First Night" at the Queen's Theatre. Markham traveled to the U.S. with a burlesque show called Lydia Thompson's British Blondes. In the 1870s Markham formed her own company and toured the West, performing Gilbert and Sullivan.
