Anne Jackson, Mrs. Charles Mathews (d.1869)

Actress Anne Jackson married Charles Mathews in 1803, after the death of his first wife, writer Eliza Kirkham Strong (1772–1802). Anne Mathews had one child, actor Charles James Mathews. Mrs. Mathews wrote "Memoirs of Charles Mathews, Comedian," published in four volumes (1838-39).
