Actress Annie Clark joined the regular company of the Boston Museum Theatre in 1861, after being an extra. In 1866-67 she was promoted to the head of the women in the company and remained there for twenty years. Together with Edwin Booth and E. H. Sothern she shone as one of the luminaries of the Boston Museum.
