Fanny Lily Gypsy Davenport (1850-1898)

The actress Fanny Davenport was born in 1850 to leading actors Edward Loomis Davenport and Fanny Vining Davenport. She first appeared in New York in 1857. She was not afraid to attempt unusual and demanding roles. Eventually she became the head of her own company.
