Linda Dietz (d.1920)

Linda Dietz, a much photographed nineteenth-century actress, made her stage debut in 1870, replacing Fanny Davenport at Daly's 5th Avenue Theatre. In 1879 Dietz left New York to join the Hare and Kendal company at the St. James Theatre in London and enjoyed a good career at the St. James, the Haymarket, and the Court.
